Job summary

66degrees is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Lead Developer in Bengaluru to architect and deliver enterprise-grade applications. You will own end-to-end design, guide a team of developers, and ship cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

The role demands strong Python/Django/DRF expertise, React/JS skills, REST API security, and data-architecture acumen. You will collaborate with product, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience designing scalable applications.
• Proven expertise in Python, Django and DRF in enterprise contexts.
• Strong frontend skills in React/JavaScript or TypeScript and REST API security.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Django ORM performance tuning.
• Cloud-native architecture on GCP and containerized deployments.

Overview of Role

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Lead Developer with strong expertise in Python, Django/Django REST Framework, React, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role requires strong hands‑on technical capabilities along with the ability to design scalable applications, make architectural decisions, guide developers, and take technical ownership of application delivery. The ideal candidate should have experience designing and developing enterprise applications, REST APIs, database solutions, and cloud-native systems deployed on GCP.

Responsibilities:

• 8-12 years of experience in design and develop scalable applications using Python, Django/DRF, FastAPI, React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Own solution design across application, data and integration layers.
• Design secure REST APIs, authentication/authorization and system integrations.
• Build and optimize solutions using PostgreSQL/Cloud SQL, Django ORM and caching.
• Architect and deploy cloud-native applications on GCP using services such as Cloud Run/GKE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, IAM and Cloud Storage.
• Drive application security, performance, scalability and reliability.
• Lead code reviews, engineering standards, CI/CD and production troubleshooting.
• Mentor developers and collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders.
