Full-Stack / Front-End-Heavy Developer (MERN Stack)

Modozo is re-engineering India’s fashion supply chain. We’re building a single operating systemthat lets designers, sourcing teams, vendors, and brand managers collaborate in realtime—cutting time-to-market by 40 % and turning “trend-misses” into “trend-wins.”

Our early customers love the clean, collaborative UI that differentiates us from Excel- andWhatsApp-driven competitors. You’ll own that experience end-to-end—while also diving into theNode/Express back-end whenever a feature crosses the front-/back-end boundary. Think ofyourself as the bridge between pixel-perfect interfaces and robust APIs.

What You’ll Do

Build delightful UIsin React + TypeScript with Tailwind and component librariesshadcn, Radix, etc.)—responsive, accessible, and fast.
Design front-end architecturethat scales: state management (Redux / Zustand),code-splitting, SSR/SSG where it helps.
Ship full-stack features: create REST/GraphQL endpoints in Express/Node, wire themto MongoDB, and surface data in the UI.
Integrate AI-powered interactions(e.g., prompt-drivenworkflows, auto-suggestions)via OpenAI or comparable services.
Collaborate tightlywith product, design, and thefounding team; convert Figma filesand lo-fi sketches into production code.
Own quality: write unit/integration tests, set up CI pipelines, and perform code reviewsto maintain a healthy codebase.
Optimize performance—from lighthouse scores to databasequeries.
Document and mentor: keep the README, Storybook, andAPI docs fresh; coachjunior devs and contractors as we scale.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

3-6 years building production web apps, at least 2 years withReactandNode.js/Express.
Experience designing and consumingREST and/or GraphQL APIs; comfortable withMongoDB or another NoSQL DB.
Familiarity withCI/CD(GitHub Actions, GitLab CI,etc.) and containerization (Docker).
Ability to translate product specs into incremental, releasable user stories and shipquickly in an agile setup.
Clear, concise communicator who thrives in an early-stage, high-ownership environment.

Nice-to-Haves

Prior work on B2B SaaS dashboards or supply-chain/ERP platforms.
Exposure toNext.js ,Vite , or SSR frameworks.
Knowledge of authentication/authorization patterns (JWT, OAuth) and basic DevOps(AWS/GCP, Terraform).
Passion for fashion-tech or previous experience in e-commerce / supply-chain domains.
