Full Stack Engineer / Technical Lead (Hyderabad)

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong hands‑on development experience in React.js, Node.js, AWS, and modern software engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of professional experience, be capable of leading a development team, and actively contribute to solution design, coding, code reviews, and delivery.

The candidate must be an AWS Certified Developer – Associate and should have practical experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud‑native applications.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications using React.js for frontend and Node.js for backend services.
• Build reusable frontend components, responsive user interfaces, dashboards, workflows, and customer‑facing application features.
• Develop REST APIs, backend services, integrations, and business logic using Node.js.
• Work with AWS services to build, deploy, and support cloud‑native applications.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring delivery quality.
• Participate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, estimation, and technical decision‑making.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
• Review code, enforce engineering best practices, and maintain high standards for security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Use Git for version control and follow branching, pull requests, and code review workflows.
• Use Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, issue management, and project delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes.
• Contribute as both a technical leader and hands‑on individual contributor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience using Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating with third‑party services.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services such as: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB or RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, ECS/EKS, CodePipeline / CodeBuild.
• Must hold AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification.
• Strong proficiency with Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, merges, and release workflows.
• Experience working with Jira in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar.
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, RBAC, API security, and secure coding practices.
• Ability to write clean, modular, testable, and maintainable code.
• Experience leading small to mid‑sized engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript in both frontend and backend development.
• Experience with serverless architecture on AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized application development.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting using CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar tools.
• Understanding of DevOps, infrastructure as code, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience working with SaaS platforms, customer portals, dashboards, or enterprise applications.
• Lead by example through hands‑on development and technical ownership.
• Guide junior and mid‑level engineers through mentoring, code reviews, and technical direction.
• Break down complex requirements into clear technical tasks.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.
