Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience building end-to-end web applications.
- Solid skills in Back-End Web Development, working with server-side languages, APIs, databases, and application security best practices.
- Experience with modern development tools and practices (version control systems such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review processes).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
About the role
Nexedge Capital is a SEBI-registered wealth management and investment advisory firm building its own technology stack - client portals, RM tooling, and AI-powered platforms - in-house rather than buying off the shelf. We’re looking for a full stack engineer to help build and scale the products our RMs and clients use every day: the RM Portal, client‑facing dashboards, and the data infrastructure behind them.
You’ll work across the stack - from React front ends to Postgres/Azure data pipelines - on products used by relationship managers and HNI/UHNI clients across mutual funds, AIFs, PMS, and structured products.
What you’ll work on
- Build and maintain features across the RM Portal and client portal, including portfolio views, holdings/performance dashboards, and reporting tools
- Work with our medallion data architecture (ADLS Gen2 - Bronze/Silver/Gold) to build reliable pipelines from source systems into client‑facing views
- Contribute to backend services on Postgres, including query performance and replication‑aware design (we run dedicated read replicas to isolate reporting load from transactional systems)
- Build responsive, data‑dense front ends in React, often paired with Chart.js for portfolio visualizations
- Collaborate with the AI team on integrating internal tools (Nex AI, RM Bot, Client Bot) into existing products
- Participate in code review, technical design discussions, and incident response as we scale
What we’re looking for
- 3–6 years building production full stack applications (adjust range based on seniority you’re targeting)
- Strong hands‑on experience with React (hooks, state management, component architecture) and a modern backend language/framework (Node.js, Python, or similar)
- Solid SQL skills and experience with Postgres or another relational database at production scale
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally Azure (ADLS, App Services, Azure Functions) - GCP/AWS equivalent experience is fine too
- Comfort working with REST APIs and integrating third‑party or internal data sources
- Understanding of data security fundamentals - encryption, access control, secure handling of sensitive financial data
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders (RMs, compliance, leadership)
Good to have
- Experience in fintech, wealth management, or financial services
- Familiarity with data lake architectures (medallion/Bronze‑Silver‑Gold, Delta Lake, or similar)
- Exposure to charting libraries (Chart.js, D3, Recharts) for financial data visualization
- Understanding of regulatory/compliance considerations in financial services (SEBI, data privacy frameworks like DPDPA)
- Interest in applied AI - we’re actively building AI tooling into internal and client‑facing products
