Role Overview

We are looking for a UI Engineer who will work directly with clients to design, build, and refine intuitive, high-impact user interfaces on top of the JazzX platform.

This is not a typical frontend developer role. You will be embedded with clients, deeply understanding their workflows and building the tools they need to make JazzX indispensable to their daily operations. You’ll own the user experience end-to-end, from discovery through delivery, shaping what AI looks and feels like in real-world enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

User-Facing Product Development
Design and build tailored UI applications that sit on top of the JazzX platform to solve client-specific workflows.
Collaborate with delivery managers, product teams, and client stakeholders to understand needs, define features, and create solutions that delight users.

Embedded Execution with Clients

Work on-site or closely alongside client teams to rapidly iterate on front-end solutions that directly support mission-critical use cases.
Actively gather feedback through user testing and field deployment, improving UX/UI based on real user behavior.

Frontend Architecture & Implementation

Develop responsive, accessible, and performant web interfaces using modern technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS).
Build reusable UI components that integrate seamlessly with JazzX APIs and backend services.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability as the application evolves.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work hand-in-hand with backend engineers, data scientists, delivery leads, and product designers to translate complex systems into usable interfaces.
Communicate technical concepts clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, making smart tradeoffs between speed and robustness.

Iteration, Testing & Deployment

Drive iterative development by releasing early and often, validating assumptions, and refining features through constant feedback loops.
Own the quality and stability of what you deploy—from performance tuning to debugging production issues with client users.

UI Advocacy & Best Practices

Champion best practices in design systems, accessibility, and frontend performance.
Help shape our forward-deployment UI playbook and internal tooling to make future work even more effective.

Qualifications

Frontend Engineering Expertise: 4+ years of experience building modern web applications, with strong proficiency in React (or similar frameworks), JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS.
UX Sensibility: Strong design instincts and a user-first mindset. You know how to make complex workflows feel simple and intuitive.
Full Lifecycle Development: Experience taking features from idea to implementation to rollout. You care about usability, polish, and maintainability.
Problem Solving & Adaptability: Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with incomplete information. You adapt quickly and enjoy figuring things out.
Client-Facing Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to navigate client interactions, field questions, and explain UI decisions clearly.
Technical Curiosity: You may not be a backend expert, but you're eager to understand APIs, data models, and the broader system context for your work.

Travel
