Job description

We’re looking for an experienced AI-Forward Full-Stack Engineer who enjoys building products end to end and using AI to turn early ideas into practical, high-quality user experiences.

You’ll join a small, fast-moving team working across multiple product initiatives, where engineering, product, and AI development are closely connected. This role is ideal for someone who is excited by emerging AI capabilities, moves quickly from idea to working product, and is comfortable figuring things out in ambiguous environments.

The role is frontend-led but strongly AI-focused, requiring enough technical breadth to work comfortably across web and mobile applications, backend services, APIs, databases, integrations, AI/LLM workflows, and supporting infrastructure.

You’ll take ownership from early concept and rapid prototyping through AI experimentation, implementation, evaluation, testing, deployment, and production support.

What you’ll do

• Build polished, production-quality product experiences across web and mobile.
• Build and integrate AI-powered product capabilities using LLMs and modern AI technologies.
• Design and implement AI workflows, including LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, AI agents, structured generation, and intelligent automation where appropriate.
• Develop supporting services and APIs using Node.js.
• Work with Supabase, databases, REST APIs, third-party integrations, and AI services.
• Rapidly prototype AI-powered ideas and turn successful experiments into reliable production features.
• Evaluate different models, tools, prompts, architectures, and approaches to determine what works best for the product.
• Build systems for AI evaluation, experimentation, observability, tracing, and debugging.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering workflows to significantly improve development speed and productivity.
• Take features from early concepts through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production.
• Make practical decisions around architecture, tooling, models, APIs, and technical trade-offs.
• Bring structure and clarity to rapidly evolving products, ambiguous requirements, and emerging AI use cases.
• Maintain, improve, and iterate on products following launch.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while retaining end-to-end ownership.
• Stay current with rapidly evolving AI, LLM, agent, and developer tooling ecosystems and identify technologies that can meaningfully improve our products.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of building and shipping real products, ideally in fast-moving startup or product environments.
• Strong frontend engineering capabilities with a high bar for usability, performance, and product quality.
• Experience building and releasing mobile applications.
• Strong experience with Node.js, APIs, databases, backend services, and third-party integrations.
• Practical experience building or integrating LLM-powered applications or AI-enabled product features.Understanding of modern AI application patterns such as RAG, tool calling, structured outputs, agents, embeddings, and model APIs.
• Experience experimenting with different AI models and approaches and evaluating their effectiveness for real product use cases.
• Understanding of how modern products are designed, developed, tested, deployed, monitored, and operated.
• Strong engineering judgment and a practical approach to technical decision-making.
• Comfortable working with incomplete requirements and identifying an effective path forward.
• Strong ownership, curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to work across the stack wherever the product requires support.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted coding and development workflows as part of everyday engineering.

Good to have

• Experience developing LLM-powered products, AI agents, RAG systems, or AI automation workflows.
• Experience with AI evaluation, prompt evaluation, model assessment, and experimentation frameworks.
• Experience with AI observability, tracing, monitoring, and debugging.
• Familiarity with Braintrust, Langfuse, or similar AI evaluation and observability platforms.
• Experience working with multiple LLM providers and model APIs.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, retrieval systems, and semantic search.
• Experience designing reliable AI systems with appropriate guardrails, fallbacks, and monitoring.
• Experience working within small, high-ownership product teams.
• Strong product sense and an ability to translate ambiguous ideas into simple, useful experiences.
• Experience across web, mobile, backend, and AI-assisted product development.
