Job summary

HookedCRM is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, build and maintain both server-side and client-side solutions across our product suite. You will contribute to front-end interfaces, back-end logic, and seamless integration while debugging, optimizing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software.

You will work on telephony features, API development, secure architectures, and real-time agent dashboards, leveraging AWS, databases, and modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain: Design, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications across HookedCRM product portfolio.
• Front-End: Implement features using React, Vue, and/or Next.js.
• Database Architecture: Plan and scale relational and NoSQL data stores.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Provision, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• API Development: Build and consume REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Backend: Build and maintain server-side services with Node.js and .NET.
• Security: Apply coding best practices and security standards; Vault experience is a plus.
• Optimization: Debug and optimize performance at scale.
• Version Control: Use Git with disciplined branching and review practices.
• Collaboration: Work with UX/UI designers and cross-functional teams to deliver on time.
• Telephony Engineering: Design, build, and maintain HookedCRM dialer with BYOC SIP trunking and call routing logic.
• Real-Time Agent Experience: Create dashboards using WebSockets or SSE for live call status and agent availability.
• AI-Native Development: Utilize AI coding assistants daily to accelerate development.

Role Description

This is a full-time position for a Full Stack Engineer. Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining both server-side and client-side solutions. The engineer will work on front-end interfaces and back-end logic, ensuring seamless integration and optimal software performance. This role also involves debugging, optimizing code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain: Design, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications across our product portfolio.
• Front-End: Implement features using React, Vue, and/or Next.js.
• Database Architecture: Architect and scale relational (PostgreSQL, RDS/Aurora) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Firebase) data layers.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Provision, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• API Development: Build and consume REST and GraphQL APIs for seamless integration.
• Backend: Build and maintain back-end services using Node.js and .NET
• Security: Implement coding best practices and security frameworks; knowledge of Vault and similar technologies a strong plus.
• Optimization: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize for performance at scale.
• Version Control: Manage code using Git with disciplined branching and review practices.
• Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers and cross-functional teams to deliver on time.
• Telephony Engineering: Design, build, and maintain the HookedCRM dialer using API driven interfaces. Implement BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) SIP trunking configurations and manage SIP endpoint provisioning. Build and optimize call routing logic: queues, ring groups, overflow rules, IVR flows, and failover handling.
• Real-Time Agent Experience: Build and maintain real-time agent dashboards using WebSockets or Server-Sent Events for live call status, queue depth, and agent availability.
• AI-Native Development: Use Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and MCP-connected development environments daily to accelerate iteration speed and code quality.

Qualifications

• Expertise in telephony technologies
• Expertise in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Strong Full-Stack Development skills, with the ability to effectively integrate front-end and back-end systems
• Hands-on AWS experience: EC2, Lambda, SQS, S3, RDS/Aurora, or equivalent cloud-native services.
• Active daily use of Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent AI coding assistants. Comfort working in MCP-connected IDE environments and agentic development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize complex applications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with diverse teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
