Job summary

Prachay Group is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer – Team Lead to head the technology team behind Bondsmart, our digital platform. Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Full Stack Developer – Team Lead to lead the technology team responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining Bondsmart, our digital platform.

The candidate will be responsible for both technical leadership and hands-on development, owning the overall technology delivery across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, integrations, and application performance.

The ideal candidate should have strong full-stack development expertise along with the ability to take ownership of the complete technology function for Bondsmart.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Team Management

Lead and manage the entire technology team, providing technical direction, guidance, and mentorship.
Define development standards, coding practices, architecture principles, and best practices across the technology team.
Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, scalability, security, maintainability, and performance.
Mentor developers and support their technical growth through regular guidance and knowledge sharing.
Allocate technical tasks, track development progress, and ensure timely delivery of technology projects.
Identify technical challenges and provide effective solutions to ensure smooth project execution.
Build a collaborative and accountable engineering culture within the team.

Full Stack Development

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications.
Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Develop robust backend services and business logic using Node.js / Express.js.
Design, develop, integrate, and maintain secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
Work with databases to design schemas, optimize queries, maintain data integrity, and improve database performance.
Implement authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and other application security mechanisms.
Collaborate with Flutter/mobile developers to ensure seamless integration between mobile applications and backend services.

Architecture & Technology

Define and maintain scalable application architecture for Bondsmart.
Evaluate technical requirements and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and solutions.
Design modular and maintainable systems with consideration for scalability and future business requirements.
Contribute to or drive the implementation of microservices and modular architecture, where required.
Establish API standards, documentation, error handling, logging, and monitoring practices.
Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
Ensure technology solutions are designed with reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability in mind.

Product & Business Collaboration

Work closely with Product, Business, Operations, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Understand Bondsmart’s product requirements and contribute to technology decisions that support business objectives.
Participate in requirement discussions, technical planning, estimation, and solution design.
Provide technical inputs on feasibility, timelines, dependencies, and potential risks.
Take end-to-end ownership of technology delivery from requirement understanding through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Deployment & Application Management

Manage application deployment, releases, updates, and production support.
Monitor application performance and proactively identify technical issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal business disruption.
Establish appropriate development, testing, and production practices.
Ensure proper version control, branching, release management, and deployment processes.
Maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, architecture, and deployment processes.

Skills And Knowledge

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js or equivalent backend technologies.
Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of frontend and backend architecture and design patterns.
Good knowledge of MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB or equivalent databases.
Strong understanding of database design, data modelling, indexing, and query optimization.
Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT / OAuth.
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and API integration.
Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
Strong understanding of application security, data validation, and secure API development.
Experience with Git and version control platforms such as GitHub / Bitbucket.
Experience with application deployment and production environments.
Understanding of cloud platforms and deployment practices is an advantage.
Understanding of microservices architecture and scalable application design is an advantage.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
