Overview

This role involves working with a tech stack that includes React.js, Node.js/Python framework, and Oracle database. It requires a diverse set of skills spanning frontend, backend, database, and DevOps practices such as working in AWS Fargate/lambda, CloudWatch/logs.

Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities & Skill Areas

• Frontend (React.js)
  • React.js Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the React library for building user interfaces, including components, state management (hooks, Context API, Redux), routing (ReactRouter), and integrating with APIs.
  • Frontend Tooling: Experience with module bundlers and build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
  • Frameworks & Libraries: Experience with Node.js frameworks like Express.js for building robust and scalable applications.
  • Business Logic: Ability to implement core business logic in the backend layer, ensuring efficient data processing and communication with the database.
• Database (OracleDB, PL/SQL)
  • SQL and PL/SQL: Mastery of SQL for data manipulation and querying. Proficiency is a specific requirement for the Oracle environment.
  • Connectivity: Understanding how to connect the Node.js application/Python API to the Oracle database using appropriate drivers and connection pooling.
  • Deployment & Management: Experience with deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications in the cloud environment, potentially Kubernetes for orchestration — highly valuable for modern deployment practices. Pipelines or GitHub Actions are preferred.
