Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Bengaluru on-site invites a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to build and scale core platform infrastructure and domain apps. You will push architectural consistency across Django/PostgreSQL microservices while maintaining high developer velocity with AI tooling.

You’ll work on React/TypeScript frontends and Python backends, implement secure identity controls, and drive integrations into a scalable ecosystem.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience building scalable full-stack applications.
• Strong frontend with React, TypeScript, and modern state management.
• Backend proficiency in Python, Django, and PostgreSQL, plus REST/GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Platform using decoupled apps with MFE architecture (Webpack 5) and Django/PostgreSQL microservices.
• Lead integrations, e.g., DMA Government app, into the Platform as standardized MFEs and microservices.
• Develop AI-enabled features interfacing with AI Model Garden APIs and the Central Knowledge Graph (CKG).
• Increase developer velocity by leveraging AI tools (Copilot, Claude) for faster prototyping to production.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and extend backend data tier with robust IAM and event-driven webhooks.

We are moving beyond legacy monoliths into a highly scalable, decoupled Micro Front-End (MFE) architecture powered by a Central Knowledge Graph (CKG).

Position

Full Stack Engineer on the Platform team, you will be instrumental in building our core infrastructure and commercializing specialized domain apps. You will leverage modern AI coding tools to maintain high developer velocity, ensuring architectural consistency across the ecosystem.

You Will

• Architecting the Platform: Building and scaling decoupled applications using our standard MFE architecture (Webpack 5 Module Federation) and Django/PostgreSQL microservices. Impact: This reduces DevOps overhead and ensures independent, scalable deployments.
• Driving High-Impact Integrations: Leading strategic initiatives, such as integrating the DMA Government application into the commercial the company Platform as a standardized MFE and Microservice. Impact: This standardizes our tech stack, eliminates redundant code, and accelerates our commercial go‑to‑market strategy.
• Building AI-Grounded Features: Developing features that interact seamlessly with our AI Model Garden APIs and Central Knowledge Graph (CKG).
• Maximizing Developer Velocity: Utilizing reusable platform patterns and heavily leveraging AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to rapidly take products from prototype to production.
• Collaborating Globally: Working with cross-functional teams to extend our foundational backend data tier, including robust identity/access control and event‑driven webhooks.

You’ll Have

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong foundation in system design and data structures.
• 4+ years of experience building and deploying scalable full‑stack applications. (Startup experience is a plus).
• Frontend Expertise: Deep experience with React 18, TypeScript, and modern state/form management tools like Redux Toolkit, React Router v7, and React Hook Form + Zod.
• Backend Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python, Django 5.x, and PostgreSQL, with experience designing both REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• AI‑Assisted Development: Proven experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to accelerate coding, debugging, and test generation.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile software development tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Micro Front-End (MFE) architectures or migrating monoliths to decoupled services.
• Experience with Graph databases or utilizing a Central Knowledge Graph for spatial/relational querying.
• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems like Keycloak (OIDC/OAuth2) and implementing strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Experience with modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Experience building event‑driven systems, asynchronous message queues, or webhook dispatchers.

Interview Process

As part of the interview process, you will be asked to complete a technical case study assessment. Expect at least two‑three rounds of Technical interviewing rounds and one onsite round.
