Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION invites an experienced IAM Full Stack Developer to join our security-focused engineering team in Hyderabad, India. You will contribute to architecture, development, and operations of a critical identity and access management platform.

The role requires hands-on coding in Java/J2EE, RESTful services, and microservices, with cloud, CI/CD, and cross-functional collaboration. You will influence design and drive reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or engineering.
• 7+ years of hands-on development in 3-tier or service-oriented architecture.
• Experience building secure access management / IAM solutions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IAM architects, security engineers, product owners to deliver secure access management solutions.
• Contribute to documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and engineering standards.
• Support audit, compliance, and security initiatives within IAM systems.
• Work with Development Lead to understand and analyze new requirements.
• Drive architectural and design discussions; hands-on architecture, analysis, and coding.
• Assist in QA and testing of existing/new features.
• Participate in release, build, and deployment activities.
• Write/review software and system documentation.
• Provide SME domain expertise for complex production issues.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a IAM Full stack Developer officer role reporting directly to AVP.

Why this role is important to us

State Street’s Identity and Access Management division is seeking a senior developer with creativity; desire to lead design, development and support of business critical and complex enterprise-level security platform.

What you will be responsible for

As a Full Stack Developer, you will:

• Collaborate with IAM architects, security engineers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure access management solutions.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge management, operational runbooks, SOPs, and engineering standards.
• Support audit, compliance, and security initiatives within IAM systems.
• Work with business team/Development Lead to understand and analyze new requirements.
• Drive architectural and design discussions towards solution perfection.
• Hands on architecture, analysis, design, review and execution of code.
• Assist in QA and testing of existing and/or new features.
• Participate in release, build and deployment activities.
• Write and/or review software and system documentation.
• Provide subject matter technical domain expertise in addressing complex production issues that encompass a wide range of internal and external systems, components, and processes.

What we value

• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with UNIX/Windows Shell/batch scripting.
• Experience with React.js/Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Experience in Hibernate, Web Services and Cloud architecture.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or engineering.
• At least 7+ years of hands-on development experience in 3-tier or service oriented application architecture.
• Exhibit integrity and ability to follow through on commitments and deadlines.
• Ability to work with team member manage delivery and provide feedback.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
• Team player, Ethical, Self-driven and self-motivated, goal and results oriented.

Additional requirements

• Vendor software experience such as ServiceNow, Azure/AWS Cloud.
• Experience with AWS/Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and application monitoring to support secure, reliable, and scalable deployment.
