Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced specialist to work for one of our clients in the banking sector. You will collaborate with global business stakeholders to elicit and review requirements, participating in the design and development of front-office infrastructure and revenue-generating services.

You will enhance pricing and risk management tools, liaise with traders and quants, and quickly assimilate both technical and business knowledge to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in relevant software development roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java 17, Maven, and associated test suites.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React; knowledge of AG Grid is a big plus.
• Experience with service-based architecture.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding.
• Familiar with GitLab, CI/CD, and VS Code.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and development of cutting-edge infrastructure, systems, and applications used by Front Office to provide streamlined services.

Responsibilities:

• You will be participating in the design and development of cutting-edge infrastructure, systems, and applications(both client and server-side) used by Front Office to provide streamlined and revenue-generating services to our clients
• Enhancing Excel-based pricing/parameter/risk management tools onto service-based Web apps
• You are expected to closely liaise with trading, sales, quants, structuring, and the tech groups in the equity derivatives business. The products spread across exchange-listed, OTC, and exotics
• You will be able to rapidly learn in-depth knowledge and gain experience from both a technology and business perspective

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 8 years of experience, Strong hands-on experience in Java 17, Maven, and associated test suites.
• TypeScript + React: Proficiency. Knowledge of the AG Grid Library is a big plus.
• Service-based architecture.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding.
• Tooling: Gitlab, CI/CD, VS Code.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Open Telemetry-based Observability: basic understanding of semantic conventions and OTel-based tooling.
• Grafana: How to build dashboards.
• Know-how around Linux-based systems.
• PostgreSQL: understanding of relational databases and their operating model.
• Cloud knowledge: familiarity with Azure or AWS.
• Cloud-related technology: Helm, Terraform, Docker.
