Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking a FullStack Developer for the Skywise domain in Bengaluru. You will join the Software Factory (Skywise) within the Digital department to build UI components with Qt/QML, and contribute to performance improvement, testing and CI/CD practices.

FullStack Developer - (C++/Qt/QML) Job Description:

A vacancy for a Fullstack developer has arisen within Airbus India in Bangalore. You will join the Software Development team within the Digital department for a specific domain - Skywise . Following best IT practices and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), the team develops software products on iOS/iPad, web applications, etc. that can be used by pilots. As a member of the Software Factory (Skywise) team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using QT / QML. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase. We are looking for a high energy, team player as part of a squad and you will support all aspects of software development including estimates, coding and testing, automation and support of solutions and their deployment process. Squads support specific services which work together to provide flight operation solutions for airlines to run safe and performant operations. Squads can be flexible, so there is always an opportunity to work on new and existing technologies, as well as new or existing solutions, bringing your experience to a variety of challenges. This position will report to a Group Manager within Airbus India. Passion for technology and problem solving are a must have.

Tasks & accountabilities

• Coding, testing, documenting and debugging assigned development tasks to meet acceptance criteria
• Participate in learning via code reviews and chapter learning activities and design reviews
• Implementing unit tests for your new code
• Support the implementation of features according to designs and specifications
• Participate and support in estimating of stories
• Review proposed test cases and test automation to execute them
• Communicate ideas and plans verbally and written in support of a squad
• Use problem solving skills to make progress on implementations and issues under the supervision of senior team members
• Solving well defined issues for support and customers as needed
• Support agile development concepts and participate in our SAFe process
• Driven to self learn technical and non-technical skills
• Support squad and self based continual improvement
• Actively participate in all squad activities with a positive encouraging attitude

Required skills

Required skills: We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, information technology or other related discipline with 2 - 6 years of experience
• Must have Web and mobile frontend C++ / QT / QML HTML, CSS/SASS
• Experience in following an agile methodology (SCRUM, KABAN, SAFe).
• Nice to have iPadOS OSGearth SPA, Micro frontends UX, Responsive Design, Accessibility Design Systems
• C# or Java
• Ability to thoroughly understand the business issues surrounding each project
• English: advanced level both verbal and written
