Job summary

Tareo is hiring a software engineer in India to build and maintain full-stack applications, with emphasis on UI to backend services. You will design responsive web interfaces and craft scalable REST APIs, connecting to databases and external data sources.

Collaboration with design, QA, product management, and peers is essential to deliver robust software. You will contribute to a modern development stack, gain exposure to cloud platforms, containers, and CI/CD practices, and grow with the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Solid command of JavaScript and/or TypeScript for application development.
• Hands-on experience building interfaces with React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
• Proven backend work using Node.js with Express.js, Java, .NET, Python, or equivalent technologies.
• Clear grasp of how REST APIs work and how to design them effectively.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application speed and efficiency
• Sync your work with design, quality assurance, product management, and other developers
• Engage in peer review of code and take part in release and deployment workflows

What you'll bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a closely related discipline
