Job summary

Alaan Bengaluru is seeking a motivated software engineering student or recent graduate to join the backend team. You will build and enhance backend services with Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS, and create RESTful APIs connecting platform components.

You'll model data in relational databases, and also contribute frontend work with React/Next as needed. Ideal candidates are pursuing a CS/engineering degree, fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript, and have internship or project experience with Node.js,

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently finished a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
• Strong grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript and core programming concepts.
• Practical experience with Node.js via internships, academic work, side projects, or self-directed learning.
• Working knowledge of Node.js frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
• Basic grounding in REST API design and server-side application development.
• Working familiarity with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Prior exposure to React.js or Next.js for client-side work.
• Experience using Git and version control systems.
• Sound analytical skills and eagerness to pick up new tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities
