Job summary

Cyber Identity Solutions in Bangalore (HSR Layout) is seeking a backend-focused mid-level software engineer to join the Product & Growth Team. This role emphasizes backend work with occasional frontend collaboration to support experiments, dashboards, and internal tools.

You will build scalable backend systems powering product features, growth experiments, data pipelines, and user-facing services, with ownership and fast execution driving growth metrics.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of software engineering experience.
• Backend development with Python, Node.js, or Golang.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Experience with Docker and containerized services.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments.
• Understanding of backend design, APIs and microservices.
• Good grasp of data structures, algorithms and debugging.

We are hiring a backend-focused mid-level software engineer to join our Product & Growth Team. This role is primarily backend-driven, with occasional frontend collaboration to support experiments, dashboards, and internal tools.

You will work on scalable backend systems that power product features, growth experiments, data pipelines, and user-facing services. The ideal candidate enjoys ownership, fast execution, and building systems that directly impact growth metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Develop systems supporting product growth, experimentation, and analytics
• Write high-quality, maintainable code using Python, Node.js/Typescript, and/or Golang
• Design and optimize SQL databases and queries
• Build and maintain event-driven architectures using Kafka
