PwC Growth Centre is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Developer with strong expertise in backend development, cloud orchestration, and enterprise‑scale solutions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who excels in troubleshooting and rapidly adapting to new technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable applications and data workflows critical to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services leveraging Java (Spring Boot) and Python
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) to support data‑intensive applications
• Develop, manage, and orchestrate workflows and DAGs using Google Cloud Composer and Apache Airflow to ensure reliable data pipelines and workload automation
• Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development and familiarity with data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy
• Hands‑on experience working with large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI GPT series or equivalent
• Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) and GIT for version control, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and agile project coordination
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in production systems to maintain high reliability and performance
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to deliver enterprise projects within scope and timeline
• Continuously update technical skills and knowledge to apply technology best practices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4-8 years professional experience with at least three of the following: Spring Boot, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Java, Python, Google Cloud Composer/Airflow, Azure DevOps, GIT
• Proven experience working on large‑scale enterprise projects for at least 5 years
• Strong expertise in cloud‑based orchestration and workflow management systems
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and troubleshoot production issues effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within fast‑paced, agile environments
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities with a track record of delivering results
• Performing enterprise systems design. Analyzing, defining, and documenting the technical requirements for web based applications; Researching and evaluating alternative technologies or solutions and making recommendations; and, Utilizing know‑how and conducting Performance and Load Testing Platforms, Unit Testing and Version Control Systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience developing using Java Spring Boot, designing and optimizing Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) in Airflow
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
• Well versed with Microservices, scalable design, Software Design principles and pattern
• Exposure to additional cloud platforms or orchestration tools is a plus
