Job summary

Crownstack is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong backend focus to build real-world AI-powered products. You will work on backend systems using Node.js/NestJS and contribute to frontend as needed with React/Next.js.

You will engage in design sessions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies, coordinating directly with US-based clients to deliver features and maintain scalable databases.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of fullstack development experience with backend as the primary strength.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js & NestJS.
• Solid experience with React/Next.js, HTML5, CSS3 and REST API integration.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (Postgres/MySQL) and ACID principles.
• Experience designing, extending, and implementing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with modern source control systems (Git, GitHub).
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, or Cursor.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our team building real-world AI-powered products and solutions. You will primarily work on backend systems using Node.js/NestJS, while also contributing to frontend development in React/Next.js as needed. You will work closely with the team lead/product owner to deliver high-quality features, participate in design sessions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies, and coordinate directly with clients on various aspects of the project lifecycle.

You will also get hands-on exposure to modern AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Cursor) and agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph), along with RAG pipelines and vector databases. This is a high-growth role — engineers who demonstrate initiative and curiosity move up quickly.

• Basic understanding of core AI/ML concepts (supervised learning, neural networks, etc.).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
