Job summary

Amazon AWS India in Maharashtra seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to advise Financial Services & Insurance customers on adopting AWS technology and to design cloud-based solutions.

You will engage with customers in India to identify business needs, demonstrate value propositions, and develop related technical solutions leveraging AWS cloud technology. You’ll evangelize AWS services and collaborate with internal teams and partners for successful migrations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in technology domains such as cloud computing, software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 2+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software/Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Design customer solutions for the Financial Services industry, collaborating with AWS teams to migrate customers to AWS cloud-based solutions.
• Architect solutions leveraging AWS technology, including proof-of-concepts and prototypes to demonstrate feasibility.
• Act as a thought leader, evangelizing AWS services via blogs, whitepapers, architectures, and public-speaking events.
• Capture and share best practices with Partners and customers in India.
• Identify customer requirements and provide feedback to AWS service teams; ensure plan execution by partners.
• Engage senior stakeholders and guide technology experts to improve CX and ensure compliance with AWS standards.

Key job responsibilities

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design customer solutions with a focus on the Financial Services industry, collaborating with the AWS Business Development function and internal teams in India to help customers migrate to AWS cloud-based technology solutions.


• Architect solutions leveraging AWS technology, including solution development and potentially demonstrate technical feasibility through mechanisms including proof-of-concepts and/or prototypes.


• Serve as a thought leadership, evangelizing AWS services and technologies through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking opportunities such as AWS first-party events and third-party industry events.


• Capture and share best practices and insights internally and with Partners and customers in India.


• Identifying customer requirements and providing feedback into appropriate AWS services teams. Provide updates on customer progress and ensure plan execution by partners.


• The right individual will leverage FSI Industry expertise, architecture experience, and customer-facing skills to be a \"trusted advisor\" to customers. They will be able to facilitate relationships with senior executive stakeholders, as well as easily interact with and give guidance to technology experts, software developers, IT professionals, and system architects to ensure better CX and compliance with global AWS standards, practices and policies.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience


• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience


• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries


• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud


• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
