Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced FS Advisory Consultant to join our Noida, Uttar Pradesh team, focusing on Financial Crime transformation across AML, KYC/CDD/EDD, and related areas. You will leverage deep domain expertise with Business Analysis and Agile delivery to drive regulatory change programs for Banking and Financial Services clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Financial Services Consulting, Business Analysis, Regulatory Change, or Financial Crime Transformation.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience within a Big 4, Tier-1 Consulting Firm, or Financial Services Advisory practice.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end Financial Crime transformation programs from strategy through implementation.
• Strong expertise in AML, Know Your Customer (KYC/CDD/EDD), Sanctions Screening, Fraud Risk Management, Transaction Monitoring, or Financial Crime Compliance.
• Extensive experience in requirements elicitation, stakeholder workshops, business process modeling, and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Financial Crime transformation initiatives across AML, KYC/CDD, EDD, Sanctions Screening, Transaction Monitoring, Fraud Management, and Regulatory Compliance.
• Assess business, operational, and regulatory challenges and recommend strategic solutions aligned to organizational objectives.
• Support the design and implementation of Financial Crime Target Operating Models (TOM), governance frameworks, and process improvements.
• Advise clients on industry best practices, regulatory expectations, and future-state operating models.
• Conduct impact assessments and support regulatory change programs to ensure compliance with local and global regulations.
• Engage with stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Business functions to gather, document, and validate requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to elicit business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable deliverables for technology and operational teams.
• Establish traceability between business requirements, user stories, testing scenarios, and delivery outcomes.
• Create and maintain Epics, Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Definition of Done (DoD).
• Support product backlog creation, refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning activities.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood, developed, tested, and implemented successfully.

Role Title: FS Advisory Consultant

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant - Financial Crime domain to support large-scale Financial Crime transformation and regulatory change programs across Banking and Financial Services clients.

The successful candidate will combine deep Financial Crime domain expertise with strong Business Analysis and Consulting capabilities to drive business transformation initiatives across AML, KYC/CDD, Sanctions, Fraud, Transaction Monitoring, and Financial Crime Operations. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, compliance teams, product owners, and technology delivery teams to define business requirements, optimize processes, design target operating models, and support end-to-end solution delivery using Agile.

The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting background, proven stakeholder management skills, and hands‑on experience in business analysis disciplines including requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap analysis, user story creation, backlog management, and business process re‑engineering.

Financial Crime Advisory & Transformation

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Engage with stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Business functions to gather, document, and validate requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to elicit business, functional, and non‑functional requirements.
• Conduct current‑state (As‑Is) and future‑state (To‑Be) analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization and business transformation.
• Perform detailed gap analysis to identify process, control, data, and technology gaps.
• Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRD), process flows, use cases, and business rules.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable deliverables for technology and operational teams.
• Establish traceability between business requirements, user stories, testing scenarios, and delivery outcomes.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, and Development teams within Agile delivery environments.
• Create and maintain Epics, Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Definition of Done (DoD).
• Support product backlog creation, refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning activities.
• Facilitate backlog grooming sessions and assist teams in understanding business requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood, developed, tested, and implemented successfully.
• Support Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Release Planning.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, product roadmaps, and delivered solutions.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Financial Services Consulting, Business Analysis, Regulatory Change, or Financial Crime Transformation.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience within a Big 4, Tier‑1 Consulting Firm, or Financial Services Advisory practice.
• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end Financial Crime transformation programs from strategy through implementation.
