Job summary

Mercor seeks a Frontend Engineer (Coding Agent Experience) for a remote contract role. You will use frontier AI coding agents to complete and evaluate frontend tasks.

You will review model-generated frontend code for correctness, quality, maintainability, accessibility, and performance, and identify bugs, edge cases, and failure modes in model outputs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Experience building modern web apps with React, TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Regular use of AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, or Gemini CLI.
• Ability to evaluate model-generated frontend implementations and performance.

Position: Frontend Engineer (Coding Agent Experience) Type: Contract Compensation: $85/hour Location: Remote

Must-Have Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Experience building modern web applications using React , TypeScript , JavaScript , or similar technologies.
• Regular use of AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or similar tools.
• Ability to evaluate model-generated frontend implementations, UI architecture, and performance optimizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale consumer or enterprise applications.

Compensation & Legal

• $400 per accepted task
• Compensation tied to accepted work
