Frontend Engineer – Real-Time Maritime Systems

Are you passionate about building real-time dashboards, maps, and visualizations that truly make an impact? About the Role

As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll design and implement intuitive dashboards, navigational maps, and real-time visualizations for a maritime navigation & situational awareness system. Your code will directly support naval operators in making split-second, mission-critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive UI components: dashboards, charts, alert panels, and maps.
• Integrate real-time data streams (WebSockets, WebRTC) from GPS, gyro, cameras, and weather sensors.
• Implement geospatial mapping for ship positions, routes, and forecast overlays.
• Build interactive animations and transitions using Framer Motion or GSAP.
• Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive UI.
• Collaborate with backend & AI teams for live API integration.
• Ensure performance optimization for real-time operations.
• Maintain clean, scalable code with Git and testing practices.

Must-Have Skills

• JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js
• WebSockets & WebRTC for live data/video feeds
• Tailwind CSS for responsive UI
• Advanced React (Hooks, Context API, rerender optimization)
• Animation libraries: Framer Motion / GSAP
