Frontend Developer – HTML & WordPress Specialist
A website that looks great but loads slowly, isn’t responsive, or fails accessibility and SEO standards isn’t truly a finished website. This role exists for someone who understands both design implementation and frontend quality — building websites that are pixel-perfect, responsive, accessible, fast, and maintainable.
This role is for someone who enjoys:

What you’ll really be doing:
1. Frontend Development & UI Implementation
- Convert Figma designs and mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces
- Build semantic and accessible HTML5 structures
- Develop responsive layouts using modern CSS, Flexbox, Grid, and mobile-first principles
- Build reusable and maintainable frontend components
2. WordPress & Theme Integration
- Convert static HTML designs into dynamic WordPress themes
- Customize and extend WordPress themes following best practices
- Work with ACF, Elementor, Gutenberg, and similar WordPress tools
- Understand and implement WordPress template hierarchy
- Integrate REST APIs and dynamic content into WordPress themes
- Support WooCommerce-based frontend layouts when required
3. Accessibility & Web Standards
- Build websites following WCAG 2.1/2.2 accessibility guidelines
- Implement semantic HTML, ARIA attributes, keyboard navigation, and proper accessibility practices
- Identify and resolve accessibility issues
- Work with QA teams to ensure accessibility standards are met before launch
4. Performance & Core Web Vitals
- Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals including LCP, CLS, and INP
- Improve page speed and overall frontend performance
- Optimize images, fonts, scripts, and other frontend resources
- Implement techniques such as lazy loading and code splitting where applicable
- Use tools such as PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTmetrix, and WebPageTest to identify performance issues
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve frontend development workflows using AI and automation
- Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality and maintainability
- Perform testing and debugging before deployment
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
- Use Git for version control and collaborative development
- Support deployment and environment-related activities when required

Qualifications & Skills
Experience
Must Have Skills
- Strong experience with responsive and mobile-first development
- Hands-on experience converting Figma/design files into websites
- Strong WordPress theme development and customization experience
- Experience with ACF, Elementor, Gutenberg , or similar WordPress tools
- Good understanding of WordPress template hierarchy
- Experience with REST API integration
- Understanding of accessibility and WCAG standards
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals and frontend performance optimization
- Experience with Git and version control
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
