Job summary

Quantbot in Pune, India is seeking a software developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. You will work on web-based applications, implement client-side features using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3, and apply solid data structures knowledge.

You will use IDEs and debugging tools, manage code with Git/CVS/SVN, and contribute to front-end development with OO programming techniques. Familiarity with React/NodeJS and build tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and its quirks.
• Experience with data structures in JavaScript or any programming language.
• Basic understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with development tools including IDEs, debuggers, bug tracking required.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, CVS, SVN.
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming techniques and languages.

Required Experience:

• 1-3 years of software development experience


• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds


• Experience in Data structures (JavaScript or any programming language)


• Basic understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5 and CSS3


• Experience with development tools including IDEs, debuggers, bug tracking required

• Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming techniques and languages

Preferred Experience:
