Job summary

WMS Gaming in Pune is seeking an Associate Front-End Engineer to implement and maintain client-side code for desktop and mobile games, focusing on quality UI and performant interfaces.

The role requires strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 skills and collaboration on game features, with exposure to React/AngularJS and modern front-end tooling. This is an on-site position at Commerzone IT Tech Park, Yerwada, Pune.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of software development experience.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds.
• Experience with data structures (JavaScript or other language).
• Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with IDEs, debuggers, and bug tracking tools.
• Proficient in Git, CVS, SVN or similar version control systems.

Associate Front-End Engineer

Job Location: Commerzone IT Tech Park, Yerwada - Pune.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain client-side code for desktop and mobile games in a thorough and timely manner.
• Work on client/server-based applications using a variety of technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS etc.
• Contribute to the development of new/innovative games and different features in a game.

Required Experience

• 1-2 years of software development experience
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
• Experience in Data structures (JavaScript or any programming language)
• Basic understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with development tools including IDEs, debuggers, bug tracking required
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, CVS, SVN.
• Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming techniques and languages.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React, AngularJS, jQuery, NodeJS etc.
• Hands on experience in other programming languages such as Java, C++, Python etc
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt
• Distributed application (client/server) development experience
• Game Development experience.
• Experience in UI development and animations.

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
