Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company in India, is seeking a Front-End Engineer (React) to design and deliver modern, accessible front-end applications using React and TypeScript. You will build dashboards, AI-enabled tools, and data-rich business apps, collaborating across product, UX, backend, AI, data, and architecture teams.

You will focus on performance, accessibility, scalability, and maintainability, with opportunities to contribute to testing, CI/CD, and reusable design systems.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional front-end experience with React.js.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and modern front-end tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade front-end apps using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Translate wireframes and user stories into responsive interfaces.
• Build AI-enabled dashboards and workflow screens.
• Integrate front-end with backend services (C#, .NET, Python, REST/GraphQL, microservices).
• Collaborate with product, UX, backend, AI, data, and architecture teams.
• Improve performance with lazy loading, caching, pagination, virtualization, code-splitting, and state management.
• Ensure accessibility and WCAG-compliant responsive UI.
• Develop unit, integration, and UI tests (Jest, RTL, Cypress, Playwright).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and documentation.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Front end Engineer (React) based in India.

As a Front-End Engineer, you will design and deliver modern, responsive, accessible, and high-performing enterprise applications using React and TypeScript.
You will build intuitive interfaces for dashboards, workflow platforms, AI-enabled tools, and data-rich business applications.
The role offers broad exposure across the application stack, with opportunities to integrate front-end experiences with APIs, microservices, and enterprise data.
You will collaborate closely with product, UX, backend, AI, data, and architecture teams to turn complex requirements into polished user experiences.
Performance, accessibility, scalability, maintainability, and usability will be central to the solutions you deliver.
You will also contribute to automated testing, CI/CD processes, documentation, and reusable design systems.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade front-end applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Translate wireframes, user stories, product requirements, and design prototypes into high-quality, responsive user interfaces.
• Build interfaces for AI-enabled workflows, including conversational experiences, AI agent task panels, recommendation views, audit trails, approval workflows, and human-in-the-loop screens.
• Integrate React applications with backend services built using C#, .NET, Python, REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices.
• Collaborate with backend and data teams to present SQL-backed enterprise data accurately, efficiently, and intuitively.
• Develop data-rich dashboards, workflow screens, search experiences, forms, visualization components, and exception-management interfaces.
• Improve front-end performance through techniques such as lazy loading, caching, pagination, virtualization, code splitting, and effective state management.
• Ensure applications meet accessibility, responsiveness, usability, cross-browser compatibility, and WCAG standards.
• Develop unit, integration, and UI automation tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines supporting automated front-end build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Document components, interfaces, integration points, configuration details, and technical handover information.
• Deliver reusable React components, AI-enabled UX screens, API-integrated applications, automated test cases, and clear component documentation.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of professional experience developing front-end applications, with strong hands-on expertise in React JS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end development and build tools.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, accessibility, design systems, and front-end performance optimization.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting, API interaction, automation, or AI-enabled application integration.
• Working knowledge of C# and .NET-based backend services.
• Experience integrating applications with REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, authentication services, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with state management technologies such as Redux, React Query, or Context API.
• Experience testing React applications using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or comparable tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with product owners, UX designers, backend engineers, AI engineers, data teams, and architecture stakeholders.
• Experience with financial services, fintech, market intelligence, ratings, commodities, or other regulated enterprise environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with design systems such as Material UI, Fluent UI, Ant Design, Carbon, Bootstrap, or custom enterprise systems is desirable.
• Experience with visualization technologies such as D3.js, Highcharts, Chart.js, Recharts, or AG Grid is an advantage.
• Experience designing AI-enabled UX patterns, including chat interfaces, prompt experiences, explainability views, and workflow approval screens, is beneficial.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
