Job summary

Aqilea in Bengaluru is seeking a Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications for our COS platform within Portfolio Brands.

The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable enterprise applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and following engineering best practices in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and GitHub Actions.
• Designing scalable frontend architectures and state management.
• Headless CMS experience beneficial.
• Component-Driven Architecture familiarity.
• Experience with E-commerce/SaaS/Enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of frontend architecture patterns and RESTful API integration.
• Proficient in Git and testing frameworks; familiar with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Awareness of Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Architects, and Backend Engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and develop reusable components using component-driven architecture.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, accessibility, and code quality.
• Implement testing strategies and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Work with version control systems (Git) and modern DevOps practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
