Job summary

AAXIS is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our engineering team in Pune. You will design and build high-performance, enterprise-scale user interfaces using Next.js, React, and modern front-end tooling.

As a senior contributor, you will lead UI architecture, collaborate with designers and backend engineers, and mentor junior developers while delivering accessible, SEO-friendly experiences across time zones in our global organisation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3+ years working with Next.js.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, GraphQL and HTML/CSS.
• Hands-on experience integrating and customizing headless CMS platforms.
• Deep understanding of rendering strategies in Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR, CSR).
• Proficiency with build and deployment tools like Vercel, Webpack, ESLint, and Babel.
• Solid grasp of performance optimization, SEO, and web accessibility (WCAG).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing engineering team and take a lead role in building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for enterprise-scale web applications. Youll work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to bring complex business requirements to life through thoughtful, elegant, and responsive front-end solutions.

As a senior member of the team, youll drive technical decision-making, enforce front-end best practices, and ensure that our UI codebase is scalable, maintainable, and accessible.
