Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Processing: Read, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately to ensure correct drug and dosage delivery.
• Patient Counseling: Explain dosage limits, administration guidelines, possible side effects, and correct storage rules politely to customers/patients.
• Inventory Control: Track medicine stock levels, check for upcoming batch expiries, manage look-alike/sound-alike (LASA) drugs, and raise reorder requests.
• Statutory Compliance: Maintain mandatory documentation and precise registers for restricted Schedule/narcotic drugs in compliance with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
• Billing & POS Operations: Process cash, card, and digital transactions through the internal pharmacy management/ERP software.
• Team Leadership (For Experienced Candidates): Oversee junior staff or pharmacy assistants, handle supplier coordination, and streamline daily stock audits.
