Job summary

Medico Hub in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, seeks Consultant General Ophthalmologist (OPD) to join its Eye Hospital. You will conduct comprehensive eye OPD consultations and manage common ophthalmic conditions.

The role requires MS Ophthalmology or DNB Ophthalmology, valid NMC/State registration, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume OPD. Salary is negotiable, with strong career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• MS Ophthalmology or DNB Ophthalmology are required.
• Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration is required.
• Experience preferred; able to independently manage comprehensive Ophthalmology OPD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Eye OPD consultations.
• Diagnose and manage cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, dry eye, conjunctival disorders and other common ophthalmic conditions.
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations including slit-lamp evaluation, refraction, fundoscopy, and tonometry.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations such as OCT, Visual Field, Fundus Photography, and B-Scan as required.
• Manage ophthalmic emergencies and provide referrals when necessary.
• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications and preventive eye care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.
• Coordinate with Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Cataract and Oculoplasty specialists for multidisciplinary care.
