Job summary

Toronto French Academy (TFA) is hiring French tutors to teach online sessions for students from A1 to B2 and prepare them for TEF Canada exams. This is a remote role open to candidates across India, with morning shifts 4:30 AM–8:30 AM IST (Tue-Sat) and immediate start.

Deliver engaging one-to-one and group classes via Google Meet, use ready-made materials, track progress, and provide feedback. Requires DELF B1/B2 or DALF C1, 2–3 years teaching, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience of 2–3 years or more.
• DELF B1 or B2, or DALF C1 certified (minimum B1)
• Experience with TEF Canada or TCF Canada preparation preferred
• Comfortable with online teaching platforms and video calls.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students online, in individual and group sessions.

About the role

As a French tutor at TFA, you will work with students from A1 to B2 levels and prepare them for the TEF Canada exam through structured and engaging online sessions.

What you will do

• Tutor students online, in individual and group sessions
• Prepare students for the TEF Canada exam modules
• Deliver demo sessions to prospective students
• Track student progress and provide feedback
• Use Google Meet, Docs, Sheets and Drive for class delivery

What you need to get hired

• DELF B1 or B2, or DALF C1 certified (minimum B1 required)
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of teaching or tutoring experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in TEF Canada or TCF Canada preparation preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with online teaching platforms
