Job summary

EdAssist is seeking a passionate TEF/TCF French Teacher to join its remote teaching team. You will be responsible for teaching live classes focused on TEF/TCF preparation for A1-B2 levels. The role requires strong language skills in French and English, along with experience in online teaching.

The position offers flexible scheduling between 4 to 40 hours per week, depending on your availability. You will create engaging lesson plans, provide feedback, and collaborate with the academic team. A degree in a relevant field and teaching certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• C1 level minimum in French.
• Experience teaching French as a foreign language.
• Strong understanding of TEF or TCF Canada format.
• Ability to create interactive lessons.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Job description

We are looking for a passionate and reliable TEF/TCF French Teacher to join our teaching team.

This is remote role, with classes conducted according to the French Insights by Ankita teaching methodology and schedule.

Work Schedule: Classes are available on weekdays and weekends, with schedules assigned based on your availability. Weekly hours can range from a minimum of 4 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week.

Responsibllities

• Teaching live in person classes for A1-B2 levels, focused on TEF/TCF Canada preparation
• Explaining key grammatical concepts and solving doubts in Learn Insights doubt sessions
• Advising on what approach to follow if a student faces difficulty in any module (RLSW)
• Creating engaging lesson plans and exercises aligned with French Insights by Ankita curriculum standards
• Providing regular feedback and speaking/writing corrections to students
• Tracking student progress and maintaining high engagement and motivation levels
• Collaborating with the academic team for content, assessments, and continuous improvement
• Maintaining a supportive and motivating classroom environment

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and English (C1 level minimum in French)
• Experience teaching French as a foreign language (online experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of TEF or TCF Canada format
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create interactive, structured, and motivating lessons
• Strong time management and organization
• Comfortable using tools like Zoom, Google Docs, Meets, TagMango, or similar LMS platforms
• Degree in French / Education / Linguistics or equivalent
• Certification such as TEF, TCF, DELF B2+, DALF C1/C2 preferred
