Job Title: Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant - UAE Payroll

Experience: 8+ Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Payroll and good functional knowledge across major HCM modules. The consultant will be responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, implementation, production support, and enhancements. The role requires strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processing, Core HR, Absence Management, HCM data migration, security, integrations, and employee lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

1. Oracle Fusion Payroll Configure and support end-to-end Oracle Fusion Payroll processes. Configure Payroll Elements, Payroll Definitions, Salary Bases, Calculation Cards, Event Groups and Payroll Balances. These activities are also reflected in your organization's previous Fusion HCM candidate requirements. Develop and maintain Payroll Fast Formulas, Formula Result Rules, User Defined Tables (UDTs), custom payroll elements and balances. Support payroll calculations including proration, payroll cut-off processing, salary hold, End of Service calculations and retro-related adjustments where applicable. Execute and validate payroll flows, payroll calculations, prepayments, retroactive processing, rollback/corrections and payroll results. Internal Payroll UAT sessions show these as relevant operational areas. Perform payroll reconciliation, testing and validation before production deployment. Troubleshoot payroll calculation issues and resolve production incidents. Support payroll accounting/costing and downstream Finance integration requirements. Coordinate Payroll-to-Payables/Finance integration requirements where applicable. Support payroll statutory and regulatory requirements based on the applicable legislation.
2. Core HR / Global HR Configure and support enterprise structures, legal employers, business units, departments, jobs, positions and grades. Support employee lifecycle activities including Hire, Transfer, Promotion and Termination. Configure and maintain workforce structures and employment-related setup. Work with HCM approval workflows, roles, security profiles, data roles and Areas of Responsibility. Support employee and manager self-service requirements.
3. Absence, Time & Workforce Activities Configure and support Absence Management and payroll-related absence calculations. Analyze the payroll impact of leave and absence transactions. Support work schedules, schedule assignments and resource exceptions. Handle bulk work-schedule activities and troubleshoot schedule overlap/upload issues. These activities appear in your internal HCM recurring-process work.
4. Data Migration & Integration Perform HCM data conversion and bulk uploads using HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL). Support employee, payroll, workforce structure and historical-data migration. Validate migrated data and reconcile source and target information. Coordinate HCM integrations with Finance and other enterprise systems. Work closely with technical/OIC teams for interface requirements, mapping, testing and troubleshooting.
5. Implementation, Testing & Support Conduct requirement-gathering and business-process workshops. Perform fit-gap analysis and translate requirements into Oracle Fusion HCM solutions. Prepare functional design/configuration documents and test scenarios. Perform Unit Testing, System Integration Testing and regression testing. Support UAT, issue resolution and defect closure. Support configuration migration and production deployment. Provide post-production/BAU support and root-cause analysis. Coordinate with business, technical and integration teams for issue resolution. Prepare user guides and provide knowledge-transfer/training sessions.
