Job summary

IndiTech Consulting seeks a freelance Network Security Firewall & WAF Analyst to support enterprise client environments. The role focuses on NGFW, Cloudflare WAF, API security, DNS, and Terraform-based automation, with strong emphasis on WAF tuning, security incidents, and Zero Trust integration.

You will work with DevOps and IT teams to ensure secure cloud and on‑prem networks, develop dashboards, and maintain security standards while contributing to audits and policy hygiene.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with NGFW and WAF technologies.
• Experience configuring and tuning WAF rules; false positives management.
• Proficiency with Terraform automation for WAF operations.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and API security.
• Experience with Zero Trust security models.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Next‑Gen Firewall administration and policy tuning.
• Operate Cloudflare WAF, including API security and DNS management.
• Monitor WAF health, coverage, rule effectiveness and security incidents.
• Develop automation using Terraform and scripting to optimize WAF ops.
• Prepare dashboards and security KPI reports; maintain docs and change records.
