Job summary

Signify in India (Gurgaon) is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to analyze financial data, prepare reports and forecasts, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive performance.

You will own planning processes, support monthly closes, manage risk considerations, and work with IT to digitalize reporting using SAC, enabling better strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics is essential.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, management accounting, or related roles with proficiency in performance analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Professional certification such as CA, CFA, CPA, or CMA is highly recommended to validate expertise in financial analysis and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret performance for trends and variations and deliver actionable reporting and analysis.
• Analyze key drivers and reports of business performance, including monthly/quarterly results and variance analysis; revise projections and provide forward-looking insights.
• Drive planning processes for target setting, deployment and forecast; support long-term strategic plan.
• Partner with business leaders to provide input and guidance on business issues and strategic financial input for decision-making.
• Perform management accounting accurately and efficiently; support monthly/quarterly close processes.
• Understand and manage risk management aspects- regulatory impact etc.; ensure best positioning to respond.
• Work with IT to digitalize, automate processes, and enable self-service reporting in SAC.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Review and interpret performance for trends and variations delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis to translate these into actionable responses on business performance.
• Analyse key drivers/ reports of business performance, including monthly and quarterly results and variance analysis, revise projections as appropriate, prepare forward looking insights and scenarios
• Drive the planning processes for Target setting, deployment and forecast and support the long-term strategic plan.
• Partners with business leaders to provide input and guidance on business issues and to provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision‑making issues affecting business performance.
• Accurately & efficiently perform management accounting, support monthly/ quarterly close process.
• Understand and Manage aspects of risk management- regulatory impact etc. on the business and help ensure the business is best positioned to respond.
• Work with IT to digitalize, automate processes, self-service reporting and improvement & simplification in SAC.

Critical Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is essential to provide a strong foundation in financial principles and analytical skills.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in financial planning and analysis, management accounting, or related roles, demonstrating proficiency in performance analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Professional certification such as CA, CFA, CPA, or CMA is highly recommended to validate expertise in financial analysis and accounting standards, ensuring credibility and compliance in financial management.
