Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a finance data analytics professional to support global function heads and finance business partners. The role focuses on managing finance data, building dashboards, and enabling automation initiatives while ensuring data accuracy, visualization, and actionable insights for planning, forecasting, and decision-making.

You will work on automated tools, reports, and end-to-end process improvements in Real Estate finance, coordinating with stakeholders to standardize processes

Qualifications

• Should have qualifications of CA/CMA.
• Must have 3 - 5 yearsexperience in relevant fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to SAP and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts and FPA processes.
• Have Interest in automation and emerging technologies (AI/ML) in finance.
• Proficiency in both spoken written English language is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end process management and performance validation to enable KPI-based steering.
• Develop automated solutions to reduce duplication and enhance data governance.

The Opportunity:

Support the Global Function heads / managers and Finance Business partner in managing finance data, building dashboards, and enabling automation initiatives.
This role focuses on data accuracy, visualization, and analytics to provide actionable insights for planning, forecasting, and decision-making.

How youll make an impact:

• Financial planning analysis (FPA) Overall accountability for the analytical services to the business, based on customer requirements. Responsible for automated tools/reports design, implementation and maintenance. Semi-automated and manual analytical services, and one-off (ad-hoc) analytical output.
• Functional Controlling controlling, budgeting, cost control, charging mechanisms, tax compliance and Business Partnering within Real Estate Function. Specifically, he/she is accountable to: a) support and drive the execution of continuous process improvements; b) ensure process management, standardization and innovation; c) participate in regular process performance validation in order to enable KPI based process performance steering; d) managekey process stakeholders interactions; e) review the key identified process inefficiencies and misalignments vs. the Process Standards;
• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, regionally and/or globally. Accountable for end- to-end process management, process performance overseeing and steering throughout the entire fi- nance organization. Facilitates the exchange of knowledge and best practices within the Functions.
• Interacts with the key process stakeholders to ensure that process related guidance is followed and that process related tasks / actions are implemented according to the Process Standards.
• Optimizes own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements. Enhance the expertise knowledge in one or multiple processes through coaching.
• Systems and Master Data Governance charts of account, Business Warehouse tools.
