About The Position

As our Finance Manager, you are passionate about data and numbers. You are an experienced FP&A/Finance professional who loves the continuous build phase of a start-up. You get excited about helping to drive accelerated business growth through goal setting, financial modeling, and analytics. You appreciate setting ambitious goals for yourself and our team and lean into measuring results along the way. You get excited about the rapid pace and thrive in the ambiguity and continuous change of building a company. You have a track record of proactive problem solving with exceptional communication and meticulous attention to detail and follow-up. There is no problem too big or too small for you to dig into with a positive attitude.

• Key Areas of Focus:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Support all areas of the FP&A process from budgeting and forecasting to reporting ensuring that there is a continuous feedback loop between finance, business units, and the executive team
• Evaluate holes in current process and data and work to improve financial knowledge and accuracy over time

Data Analytics

• Become knowledgeable on CometChat data systems and tools and work with Business Units to build reporting and dashboards
• Help drive the business forward to data driven insights

General Finance Support

• Help in everyday support of the finance function including FP&A, Accounting, and Treasury

Must Have:

• 4+ years of progressive and broad-based finance experience in high growth and or start-up environments
• Experience/willingness to working with dispersed global teams
• Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of financial analysis, financial modeling, and problem solving skills
• Strong analytic skills and data-driven mindset
• Experience establishing key business metrics and defining strategies for improvement and management
• Resilient and comfortable taking ownership
• The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced Excel experience
