Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager for FP&A, reporting, and forecasting. You will consolidate multi-company P&Ls, balance sheets and cash flows, with hands-on Excel VBA and Power BI automation to drive insights for leadership.

The role requires 8–10 years in FP&A, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Shipments ERP. You will partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic decisions and improve financial processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Post-Graduate in Finance.
• CA or FMVA would be an added advantage.
• 8-10 years of FP&A experience, preferably in logistics.
• Proven MIS consolidation of Multi-Company P&Ls, balance sheets and cash flows.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: consolidate multi-company P&Ls, balance sheets and cash flows.
• Detailed variance analysis and actionable insights for senior management.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly MIS reports and stakeholder presentations.
• Forecasting and budgeting support; monitor actuals vs forecast and budget.
• Develop automated financial models and dashboards using Excel VBA and Power BI.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager / Manager with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in preparing and consolidating Multi-Company P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flows. Prior exposure to Shipments ERP and the ability to create and maintain Excel VBA Macros will be considered a huge advantage. Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Preparation and consolidation of financial statements, including Multi-Company P&Ls, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly MIS reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Financial Forecasting & Budgeting

• Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgeting processes.
• Monitor actuals vs. forecast and budget, highlighting key areas of concern and opportunities.

System & Process Management

• Utilize Shipments for financial data analysis and reporting.
• Create and maintain automated financial models, reports, and dashboards using Excel VBA Macros and (or) Power BI.

Stakeholder Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand financial needs and requirements.
• Support leadership in strategic decision-making by providing in-depth financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Graduate or Post-Graduate in Finance
• Profession Certifications like CA, FMVA would be an added advantage.

Experience

• 8 to 10 years of FP&A experience, preferably in a logistics or similar industry.
• Proven experience in MIS preparation and consolidation of Multi-Company P&Ls, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, and advanced data analysis).
• Experience with Excel VBA Macros for automation and reporting.
• Exposure to Shipments ERP will be a significant advantage.
• Experience in creating and managing reporting on Power BI.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial data in an understandable manner to various stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the logistics sector is highly preferred, although candidates from other industries with a strong FP&A background will also be considered.
