Job summary

Cytiva, part of Danaher, is seeking an FP&A Analyst for its India Finance COE in Bengaluru. The role covers budgeting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis, month-end close, and P&L reporting. On-site shift from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, supporting global finance processes.

You will lead planning cycles, analytics on costs, and provide insights to drive business performance, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• B. Com/MBA/CA/CMA with 5-8 years finance experience.
• Excellent analytical skills linked to operational drivers.
• Strong PC skills with OneStream, Oracle, Hyperion, Qlik; Excel proficiency.
• Experience in a global environment with understanding of processes and transactions.
• Adaptable, self-motivated with effective communication and energy.
• Experience with dashboards and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning cycles, estimates and books closing; manage monthly/quarterly pacing and closing.
• Develop analytics on high-impact costs; support dashboards and scorecards.
• Provide analytics to highlight key performance drivers and manage risks and opportunities.
• Consolidate actual operating performance; provide variance reporting vs budgets/forecasts.
• Create and maintain SOPs and participate in simplification projects to enhance value-added analysis.

The “FP&A Analyst” for Cytiva is responsible for Budgeting, monthly Forecasting, variance analysis, month close process, publishing Bowler report, Dashboard report and P&L report.

This position is part of the global India Finance COE located in Bangalore and will be on‑site (working hours from 1.30 PM to 10.30 PM). At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What You Will Do

• Key business partner to Finance leaders & operation team in leading planning cycles, estimates & books closing to help define priorities for the business while leading financial activities for monthly and quarterly pacing/closing and provide strong leadership and analytics for estimates, Budget setting.
• Lead analytics around high impact cost like headcount, contractors etc., support in dashboards, reports publishing and maintain financials, score cards etc. while being Responsible for quality error free deliverables in accordance with the quality standard for FP&A CoE.
• Providing necessary analytics to highlight key business performance drivers, identifying risks and opportunities throughout the quarter, and developing processes to mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities.
• Consolidating actual operating performance and reporting results while also providing variance reporting and investigative analysis against budgets, forecast and performance results.
• Accountable for creating and maintaining SOP's and participating in simplification projects that will facilitate and increase capacity for value‑added financial analysis.

Who You Are

• B. Com, MBA, CA, CMA along with 5 - 8 years of progressive finance experience
• Excellent analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications such as OneStream Oracle, Hyperion, Qlik etc., along with strong knowledge of excel / spreadsheet
• Experience working in a global environment with sound understanding of global processes and transaction flows
• Adaptable/Flexible: being opened to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, work in ambiguous situations, which will only be possible with effective communication and interpersonal skills along with someone who is self‑motivated and possesses high energy.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Strong analytical skills: able to analyze large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers, link financial results to operational performance and distil them into insightful analysis;
• Process improvement initiatives;
• Working in ambiguous situations: adaptable & open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances;
• BI tools, for example QlikSense, OneStream;
