Soulstarr, an AI-powered astrology platform, offers a 3-month internship focused on market research and growth strategy. The intern will conduct in-depth market analyses, identify high-potential markets, and translate research into actionable insights for outreach and product marketing.

Selected candidates should be comfortable with data in spreadsheets, fluent in English, and eager to work with international clients.

Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to find information independently and think beyond the obvious.
• Comfortable working with data in Excel/Google Sheets and turning numbers into clear insights.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence in communicating with international clients.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and share clear, constructive feedback.
• Curiosity about markets, startups, marketing, and business growth.
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude for research and analysis.
• Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and a founder mindset.
• Students or recent graduates from MBA, BBA, B.Tech/B.E., or related backgrounds are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research on industries, competitors, target markets, and potential client segments.
• Identify high-potential markets and ideal client profiles to guide our growth strategy.
• Build and maintain well-organized research databases, market trackers, and data sheets.
• Convert research into actionable insights such as target lists, pitch angles, and messaging for client outreach.
• Work closely with the Business Development team, monitor BD calls, and track performance to identify what's working.
• Analyze BD metrics (outreach, responses, conversions, drop-offs) and share improvement insights with the founder.
• Engage with high-value international clients and support client acquisition and conversion.
• Support product marketing initiatives, including positioning, messaging, and understanding what clients value most.
• Prepare concise research reports and strategy recommendations for the founder.

About the internship:
