Job summary

Soarix is an AI-native B2B sourcing platform. We are hiring our first HR leader to build how we work from the ground up, with a seat in the founder’s office from day one. You will shape People & Culture as we grow from a handful to 40+ people in the next 12 months.

You’ll own payroll, compliance, onboarding, ESOP admin and vendor management, and you’ll design HR processes and systems from scratch. This is a ground-up role for someone excited to build culture and team from December 2026 onward.

Qualifications

• 4+ years HR experience in a product company.
• Experience in early-stage startups.
• Experience hiring for tech and non-tech roles.
• End-to-end payroll and statutory compliance.
• Designed HR processes or systems from scratch.
• Managed vendors and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Hire a broad range of roles including engineers, product, sales, marketing and more.
• Build HR from zero: policies, processes, systems.
• Run payroll, PF, ESI, PT, TDS (in-house or with an agency).
• Set up HRMS and keep HR data clean.
• Own onboarding to ensure day one is effective.
• Run ESOP admin and POSH compliance.
• Own office, admin and vendor management; asset provisioning.
• Collaborate with founders to fix what’s broken and shape culture.
• Lead the People & Culture function and build a team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Hire. A lot. Engineers, product, sales, marketing and more.
• Build HR from zero. Policies, processes, systems.
• Run payroll, PF, ESI, PT, TDS. Yourself or with an agency.
• Set up our HRMS. Keep it clean.
• Own onboarding. Day one should feel like day one.
• Run ESOP admin and POSH compliance.
• Own office, admin and vendors. Assets to employees.
• Work directly with the founders. Fix what’s broken.
• Shape our culture. You’ll write the first version.
• Build your team and lead the People & Culture function.

YOU HAVE

• 4+ years in HR at a product company.
• Worked in early-stage startups.
• Hired for tech and non-tech roles. You know a backend dev from a full-stack one.
• Handled statutory compliance and payroll end to end.
• Designed HR processes or systems from scratch.
• Managed vendors and agencies.

YOU ARE

• Organised in chaos.
• Excited by people and culture. Not just policies.
• Trusted. You handle sensitive things quietly.
• Excited to build things from the ground up and own it.
