Job summary

LH2 AI Labs in Bengaluru is hiring a data-supply leader to own one category end-to-end, build the supplier pipeline, win data partners, and secure licensing deals while leading BD associates and interns alongside the founders.

You’ll map data ownership, run outbound outreach to senior decision-makers, close high-impact deals, hire and coach the BD team, and collaborate with Demand and Research to align category needs.

About LH2 AI Labs

Built by second-time founders who have built and sold companies before, LH2 AI Labs (lh2.ai) is building the post-training infrastructure for frontier AI models. We bring private, high-quality institutional datasets and vetted domain experts to frontier AI pipelines across verticals like coding, computer use, agentic, medical, audio and more. For AI to keep progressing, it needs high-quality training data drawn from real production use cases. The public web has already been crawled and trained on – there’s nothing left there. That’s where we come in: we envision creating a world where frontier models can access data on tap – exactly how they access compute today.

The Role

You’ll own one data category end to end for our Supply team, such as codebases, long-form documents, audio, or video. Your job is to build the supplier pipeline for that category from zero: find the companies that hold the data, win them over, and take them to a signed data licensing deal. You’ll build and lead a team of business development associates and interns, and work directly with the founders.

What You’ll Do

• Own supply strategy for your category: map who holds the data, prioritize targets, and decide where effort goes
• Lead outreach and early conversations with senior decision-makers, and personally close the deals that matter most
• Run the pipeline from first contact to signed Data Licensing Agreement
• Hire, train, and coach BD associates and interns; set targets and review their calls and outreach
• Work with our Demand and Research team to understand what frontier labs want in your category, and source against it
• Build the playbooks, scripts, and trackers that make your category repeatable
• Report progress, blockers, and wins to the founders on a regular rhythm

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of a top-tier institution (IIT, IIM, ISB, BITS, NIT or equivalent)
• 2-5 years of experience, including time at a 0-to-1 startup: among the first employees, or someone who built a function or product from scratch
• Hands-on outbound experience in BD, sales, partnerships, or sourcing, with comfort cold-reaching senior people and handling rejection
• Ability to learn a new data category quickly and talk credibly with technical and non-technical data owners
• Strong written and spoken communication
• High ownership: you figure things out without a playbook
