Job summary

SAP is seeking engineers to design, develop, and operate AI-native enterprise applications within customer-embedded teams. You’ll lead cloud-native solutions that integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agent-based components, while collaborating across customer projects and cross-functional partners.

You will implement end-to-end AI features, guide teammates, and ensure high code quality, reliability, and performance in evolving customer environments.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python proficiency with cloud-native development experience.
• Strong experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines, MLOps, or integrating ML models into application contexts.
• Familiarity with SAP AI technologies such as SAP AI Core or SAP BTP is a plus.
• Comfort using AI tools — including agentic AI — in day-to-day work.

Job description

You have advanced software engineering skills and solid hands-on experience with AI and ML techniques in cloud-native environments.

Advanced Python proficiency and hands-on experience in at least one cloud-native development environment.

Strong experience with large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, agent-based workflows, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

Hands-on experience with data pipelines, machine learning operations (MLOps), or integrating AI/ML models into application contexts.

Solid awareness of cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or GCP — and tools such as Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Awareness with SAP AI technologies such as SAP AI Core or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.
