Job summary

Jansoft Global is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer intern in Ahmedabad to build AI-powered applications, automation workflows, and prototypes while guiding a two-intern team. The role focuses on turning business needs into technical tasks and delivering production-quality results in a 6-month paid internship.

You will work on integrating LLMs, APIs, databases, and cloud tech, mentoring peers, and presenting demos. Local candidates only; hybrid work arrangement in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E./MCA/M.Tech graduates with at least one hands-on project or internship.
• Prior project experience building end-to-end solutions; not a first internship.
• Ability to mentor junior peers and guide interns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered applications, agents, and automation workflows.
• Develop POCs and MVPs using modern AI and cloud technologies.

• Lead, mentor, and review the work of 2 interns and ensure production-quality output.

Type: Paid Internship, with day-to-day ownership of a 2-person intern team

About the Role

We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to build AI-powered applications, automation workflows, and technology prototypes for real-world business problems — and to lead and guide 2 interns as they work on the same stack.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered applications, agents, and automation workflows.
  
• Develop POCs and MVPs using modern AI and cloud technologies.
  
• Integrate LLMs, APIs, databases, and third-party tools.
  
• Lead, mentor, and review the work of 2 interns — assign tasks, unblock issues, and keep their output on track and production-quality.
  
• Convert business requirements into working technical solutions and translate them into clear tasks for the intern team.
  
• Troubleshoot, test, and improve solutions across the team's combined output.
  
• Document projects and lead technical demos, including presenting the team's work.
  

Required Skills

• Python or another programming language, with enough depth to review and guide others' code.
  
• Solid knowledge of APIs, Git/GitHub, and databases/SQL.
  
• Prior project experience (academic, internship, or freelance) building something end-to-end — this is not a first internship.
  
• Some prior experience guiding, tutoring, or working closely with junior peers is a plus.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with ambiguity.
  

Good to Have

• OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, LangChain, or RAG experience.
  
• React/Next.js, FastAPI/Flask.
