Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer - Observability & Platform, Senior Associate, to lead managed services efforts. You will manage delivery, optimize operations, and drive improvements across advisory, assurance, tax, and business services with global teams.

You will own incident leadership, implement SLIs/SLOs, and apply automation using Python/Go/Bash, AWS, and Kubernetes at scale. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

As a Forward Deployed Engineer - Observability & Platform - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing managed services processes, tools, and services to enhance client operations. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on transitioning and running services, managing delivery teams, and driving continuous improvement to streamline operations and reduce costs for our clients.

As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward is unclear. What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 5 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
• Substantial SRE experience with real ownership of production reliability on AWS.
• Experience running Kubernetes and AWS services at scale.
• A track record of defining and managing SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Strong observability practice.
• Proven incident leadership and post-mortem facilitation.
• Strong automation skills (Python, Go, or Bash).
• Hands-on understanding of AI-assisted operations, including introducing AI SRE tooling with sensible guardrails.
• AWS certification at Associate level as a minimum.
