PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer - Observability & Platform Associate to help deliver managed services across AWS, Kubernetes, and automation. You will work with global teams to transition and run services, optimize delivery, and manage risks.

You will own monitoring and observability, develop scalable automation, and contribute to process improvements while building your professional brand in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in observability or SRE roles.
• English proficiency, both spoken and written.
• Experience with AWS production systems and monitoring.
• Proficient in automation scripting (Python or Bash).

As a Forward Deployed Engineer - Observability & Platform - Associate, you will be at the forefront of delivering managed services that streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency for our clients. What You Must Have

What Sets You Apart

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
• Proven experience keeping production systems reliable on AWS in an SRE or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience running Kubernetes and containers in production.
• Working knowledge of core AWS services and cloud‑native operations.
• Experience owning monitoring and observability, and working to SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Experience managing production incidents end to end, including on‑call.
• Scripting ability for automation (Python and/or Bash).
• A genuine understanding of how AI‑assisted tools support operations, and comfort using them in incident triage and resolution.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (or actively working towards it).
• Excelling in automation framework design and development
• Demonstrating proficiency in business process automation
• Utilizing operational performance management strategies effectively
• Engaging in continuous process improvement initiatives
• Applying data quality automation techniques
• Developing skills in service level management
