Job summary

Xponentium India in Bengaluru is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer — AWS (Lead) for a hands-on, customer-embedded role to build, deploy and scale production-grade AI applications and agentic workflows.

You will work directly with customer teams, design scalable AI systems, integrate models and data sources, and own end-to-end delivery from prototype to production, with a focus on reliability, monitoring and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building AI-enabled production systems and agentic workflows.
• Experience integrating AI models, APIs, and data platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and ensure production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customer engineering teams to understand business needs and build scalable AI-enabled production systems.
• Design and develop production-grade AI applications, multi-agent orchestration layers, retrieval pipelines and workflow automation.
• Integrate foundation models, customer data sources, APIs and enterprise applications into reliable AI solutions.
• Own end-to-end delivery, from prototyping and development to production deployment and operational support.
• Implement monitoring, evaluations, guardrails, testing, CI/CD, rollback and resiliency practices for AI systems at scale.
• Identify AI adoption opportunities and develop reusable frameworks, accelerators and reference architectures.
• Mentor engineers, establish engineering best practices and contribute reusable components to products and services.
