Job summary

SoftwareOne Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Forward Deployed Architect specializing in Agentic AI to lead architectural design for production-grade AI systems deployed in customer environments.

You will work at the intersection of customer context, systems architecture, and applied AI, guiding engagements from problem discovery to deployment and iteration with a focus on robustness, scalability, and business impact.

Qualifications

• Strong experience architecting and delivering AI, ML, or software systems in production environments.
• Hands-on technical expertise in Python or comparable programming languages such as Go, Rust, or similar.
• Practical knowledge of modern AI and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, or equivalent technologies.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML lifecycles, including deployment, monitoring, iteration, and production reliability.
• Strong software architecture fundamentals across distributed systems, data modeling, integration patterns, and system design.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs and business value clearly.

Responsibilities

• Translating complex business challenges into practical agentic AI architectures, including multi-step workflows, tool use, and external system integrations.

• Guiding prototypes into scalable, reliable, and maintainable production solutions while balancing speed, quality, and business value.
• Mentoring engineers and architects, sharing best practices, and raising delivery standards across AI projects.
