Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction project from conception to completion
• Review the project in depth to schedule deliverable
• Ensure compliance with safety standard and building codes
• Managing construction staff and providing job site leadership and direction
• Schedule and coordinating subcontractors and deliveries
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on daily basis
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Identify, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use proper construction techniques
• Evaluation of staff performance
• Run a daily or weekly safety meeting with staff

Qualifications

• More than 15-20 year proven working experience as Building Foreman in construction management
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulation and quality standards
• High school graduate or Civil engineering (undergraduate)
• Below 55 years old & physically fit
• Has a manual driver license
