Job summary

Ezbuzz Solutions Pvt Ltd in Delhi is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with 1–2 years of experience to handle day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting support for international clients.

You should be proficient in QuickBooks Online and Xero, have strong grasp of basic accounting concepts, and be comfortable with bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and general ledger processes. This role also offers training in cloud accounting within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• B.Com / B.Com (Hons.) or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• Practical knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Xero.
• Good understanding of fundamental accounting concepts.
• MS Excel / Google Sheets proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts for clients as per applicable accounting requirements.
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable records.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and other financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual transactions.
• Assist with client reporting and other accounting requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 1–2 years of experience to join our growing accounting and outsourcing team. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounting entries, and financial reporting support for domestic and international clients.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Xero and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts for clients as per applicable accounting requirements.
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable records.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and other financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual transactions.
• Assist in bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up projects.
• Work on QuickBooks Online and Xero for client accounting.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
• Coordinate with senior accountants/managers for client-related accounting queries.
• Assist with client reporting and other accounting requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of assigned work.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / B.Com (Hons.) or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• Good understanding of fundamental accounting concepts.
• Hands‑on knowledge of QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliation, AP, AR, journal entries and general ledger.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client assignments and meet deadlines.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• QuickBooks Online certification or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.
• Xero certification.
• Experience working with US, UK, Australian or Canadian clients.
• Knowledge of international bookkeeping and accounting practices.
• Exposure to payroll, sales tax/VAT/GST or month-end closing.
• Experience with accounting cleanup and migration projects.
